Bar stools don’t always have to be sleek, dark, and sophisticated. In certain places, it’s okay for bar stools to be fun, whimsical, and even cute. That’s why I like the Karim Rashid Kant Stool. It’s so darling. I can just imagine it in a boutique, nail parlor, or kids’ cafeteria. Put it in an outdoor play area, pair it with some playful outdoor bistro tables, and you’re all set. I also think that if you added a big pair of googly eyes to the front of the seat, the stool would look like something from a Pixar film. But that’s just me.

In summary, what we’ve got here is an adorable bar stool that comes in plenty of interchangeable colors, holds a lot of weight, stands up to the elements, and helps prevent disease. Shouldn’t there be a special design award for something like this? If this thing can offer world peace, I am so buying one. (I’ve actually got some hope for that; I mean, how could anyone stay angry while looking at this stool? Especially if you take my advice and add the googly eyes. Hmmm…)
